What is eQ?
eQ stands for "everyday Qur’an". eQ aims to help to Muslims love Qur'an and build self-consistency (istiqomah) in reciting Qur'an. By using eQ, Muslims are expected to recite two pages of Qur'an every day consistently.
How can I join eQ?
You can download our eQ app via Google Play Store or iOS app store.
What are the requirements to become an EQ member?
There is no strict requirements to become an eQ member. As long as you are a Muslim, you are welcome. Furthermore, you are also required to commit to recite Qur’an every day.
How does eQ work?
eQ administrators assign you to a specific randomly. Equipped with a reminder from the app, you are given a task to recite two specific pages of Qur'an and the translation every day. You will recite two pages of Qur'an consecutively without being in the same place.
eQ administrators put you into several groups. You can join the groups randomly or make your own groups. You can also join the existing groups. Equipped with a reminder from the app, you are given a task to recite two specific pages of Qur'an and the translation every day. You will recite two pages of Qur'an consecutively without being in the same place.
How many people are in each group?
Each group consists of 6 members.
How does the task work in eQ?
Every day, you should check your task on the app to see which pages that you need to recite. If you fulfill the task, you must confirm it, and you will be marked with a 'star'. If you don’t submit your status until 8:00 pm, the system will send you a notification.
What if I miss the task?
If you miss the task or forget to update your status, a cross mark (❌) will appear, indicating that the task is not accomplished. The cross mark is intended as a warning for you to be discipline in accomplishing the task and updating your status every day. Every Saturday, all the cross marks will be erased. Next, you will receive a weekly report containing the 'stars' you collected and the missing recitation for the past week. This is intended to give you a chance to recite all the missed tasks during the week and also give the motivation to perform better in the following week. However, you can only see your missing tasks for the past 3 days.
What if the regisration token is expired?
You must re-register yourself.

How long my data will be saved in the eQ database?
First of all, you must keep in mind that as long as you are registered in a group, you cannot leave the group until khatamul Qur’an (FAQ point 4). Therefore, your data will be saved during that period. However, after khatamul Qur’an, your data will be erased automatically from the system.
